Yes. For local moves, to avoid a forfeit of your deposit, you must cancel within 7 days of the contracted date. For long-distance moves, customers must cancel within 14 days of the contracted date of services to be rendered.

Yes, there is a $250 deposit for local moves. And for long-distance moves, there is a 10% deposit.

For Local Moves: Unless otherwise arranged, payment for local moves is based on the time and mileage involved. Time and mileage are computed from our office in Poland, ME.

For Long-Distance Moves: You will be given a binding estimate in writing. Please refer to the FAQ page for more details.

Local Moves: A $250 deposit is required to secure services. This deposit can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. The remaining balance is to be paid by cash or check upon completion of he move.

Long-distance Moves: 10% is due at booking. 45% is due at loading. And the remaining 45% is due at completion. Deposits can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. Remaining payments are to be paid by cash or certified check.

Tips are greatly appreciated but not required. As with other service industries, you may wish to thank your movers by offering a gratuity if they do a wonderful job.
